Contact Improvisation Winter Intensive with Joerg Hassmann
2-6 January 2020, Berlin

I would like to use this restful, re-charging, and re-setting moment of the yearly cycle to tune into all that is being moved, connected and questioned in this multi-layered dance form called Contact Improvisation.

Our main anchors are the body and the physical research in detail and in generosity, alone and in partners through bodywork-explorations, technical CI researches, and open dance frames. From this grounded place, I would like to see space and curiosities opening up to the diverse layers of the ‘me’, the ‘you’ and the ‘us’, that we are in touch with. And if we get lucky we will even touch a place beyond those layers. All of that feeding the dance for five spacious days.

Participants should feel pretty at home with CI to follow this workshop.
